Man kills 15-year-old and 3 others after getting frustrated

Domenico Claude Gigante, 36, is facing murder charges after authorities state he murdered his 15-year-old daughter, the girl’s mother, and two others.

A 911 call at 1:55 a.m. on Wednesday reported the shooting, and upon arriving at the scene in Cocoa, Florida, the caller found the four victims dead. The two boys, ages 6 and 9, were unharmed.

Gigante allegedly confessed to his roommate that he killed his daughter, Kiara Terwilliger, 15, as well as Constance Marie Terwilliger, 35, Glenda Mae Terwilliger, 63, and Michael Andrew Watson, 63.

Gigante had been attempting to reconnect with his daughter, yet she refused to have a relationship with him.

He agreed to go with his roommate to the Criminal Investigative Services building, but needed to go inside the residence first to get their keys. His roommate asked him if he had done it, to which he replied yes, and that he shot his daughter three times. Gigante had previously expressed his frustration with the situation, stating “I guess I’m going to go over them and kill them all.”

Surveillance footage from his home and the victims’ neighborhood showed a vehicle matching the description of Gigante’s vehicle, and the audio captured gunshots and a female screaming.

Ivey noted that Gigante has an “extremely violent past dating back as far as 2005,” and court records show a 2005 case for misdemeanor battery domestic violence as well as a 2008 animal cruelty case, and a 2012 aggravated assault and possession of fewer than 20 grams of cannabis case.

In the latter case, Gigante was accused of arguing with two motorcycle riders and deliberately ramming their vehicle with his truck, and later getting out with a machete. Prosecutors dropped a count of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, and Gigante was sentenced to two years of house arrest and two years of probation.
