Pregnant Woman Stabs Boyfriend, Cuts Off His Penis

A Colorado woman, 32 years old and pregnant, has been arrested and charged with the brutal murder of her boyfriend, following a dispute over the paternity of her unborn child. Shenting Guo was taken into custody on Tuesday, facing charges of second-degree murder committed in the heat of passion and domestic violence, as per the local law enforcement.

The Grand Junction Police Department reported that they received a distress call around 8:50 p.m. on May 14, regarding an unresponsive male at the Woodspring Suites, located in the 600 block of Market Street, approximately 240 miles west of Denver. Upon arrival, the first responders found the male victim, suffering from a severe knife wound. The victim, whose identity has not been disclosed by the authorities, was declared dead at the scene.

The police investigation led to the identification and arrest of Guo. She was subsequently transferred to the Mesa County Detention Facility and charged with second-degree murder. The Mesa County Coroner’s Office is expected to release the identity of the deceased after the necessary notifications have been made.

While the police have not disclosed further details about the murder, a probable cause affidavit obtained by The Daily Sentinel has shed light on the gruesome details of the incident. According to the document, Guo, during her interview with the police, admitted to being in a romantic relationship with the victim. She revealed that an argument ensued between them after she informed him about her pregnancy and questioned the paternity of the child.

As the argument escalated, Guo confessed to stabbing the victim in the leg out of anger. She insisted that she did not intend to kill him. In a shocking revelation, Guo also admitted to mutilating the victim by severing his penis.

Following the violent altercation, Guo left the hotel and went to a nearby City Market. She claimed that the victim did not appear to be in pain. She purchased supplies including rubbing alcohol, antibiotics, and beer, but failed to buy bandages for the victim’s injuries. Later, when the victim complained of feeling cold and fearing death, Guo gave him “greens,” ibuprofen, and water instead of seeking medical help. Shortly after, she informed the police that he had died.

Guo is currently detained at the Mesa County Detention Facility with a cash bond set at $1 million. She is due to appear in court on May 22.
