Woman pulls gun on McDonald’s worker while trying to order a meal

On March 16th, Quavi Young, 26, was taken into custody in Cocoa, Florida, after police said she had threatened an employee at McDonald’s and pointed a gun at them. Young was charged with three counts: aggravated assault with a weapon, open carrying of a weapon, and driving with a suspended license.

According to the arrest report, Young drove up to the drive-thru speaker and requested a meal that wasn’t on the menu. After being told that her order couldn’t be taken, she drove up to the first window and demanded her order.

When the employee asked her what her problem was and why she was so angry, Young reportedly pulled out her gun and said that she would “push her shit back”. She then drove to the next window.

Officers who arrived at the scene found a black M&P gun with a 50-round drum-style magazine on the passenger seat of Young’s car.

Employees at McDonald’s told police that this was Young’s second time at the restaurant that evening, although they did not provide more details. Young admitted to officers that her license was suspended.

Young is scheduled to appear in court for an arraignment on April 13, 2023.
