Disney employee at Star Wars store is charged with felony for ‘guilty pleasure’

Jorge Diaz Vega, a 26-year-old employee of Disney Hollywood Studios, was charged with a felony on March 31st.

An individual had seen him recording a woman without her consent, prompting an Orange County investigation.

Vega allegedly confessed to possessing over 500 upskirt videos of random women that he had recorded at the theme park, and had been doing so for six years in the Star Wars retail store. He reportedly told detectives that his urge to record these videos stemmed from the difficulty in finding them online, and it gave him sexual gratification, which he referred to as a “guilty pleasure”.

The videos were reviewed, and all the women in them appeared to be unaware that they were being filmed.

Vega was charged with video voyeurism, and the Disney spokesperson confirmed that he is no longer employed by the company.
