Man Survives Terrifying Toilet Encounter with 12-Foot Python in Bathroom

A man in Thailand experienced a horrifying encounter with a 12-foot python that bit him on the testicles while he was using the toilet. In a shocking turn of events, the man managed to kill the snake using a toilet brush, leaving his bathroom covered in blood. The incident was documented in graphic photos that have since been shared widely on social media.

Thanat Thangtewanon was the unfortunate victim of the snake attack. He described feeling a sharp pain after sitting down on the toilet. Upon investigating, he was shocked to discover that he had grabbed a snake. Despite his attempts to remove the python, it refused to let go, forcing Thangtewanon to resort to using a toilet brush to beat the snake until it released its grip.

Thangtewanon described the ordeal as extremely painful, with blood covering the bathroom. However, his shock at finding a python in his toilet was even greater. He was able to share images of the deceased snake on social media, which quickly garnered attention.

Following the incident, Thangtewanon was rushed to a hospital where he received a tetanus vaccine. Fortunately, he did not require stitches. Reflecting on the incident, he expressed relief that the snake was not venomous, acknowledging that a cobra could have been fatal. Since the incident, he has refrained from using the same toilet.

The location of the attack within Thailand was not specified in the reports. However, this is not the first time such an incident has occurred in the country. In recent years, several other individuals have reported being bitten by snakes while using the toilet.

In 2016, a 10-foot python bit a man’s penis in the Chachoengsao province. The man was able to wrestle the snake off and was briefly hospitalized. In 2020, a woman was bitten on the thigh by a snake while using the toilet, leading her to beat it with a hammer. Later that year, another woman was bitten on the buttocks by a 7-foot python in the Samut Prakan province. In 2023, a woman from the same province found a 12-foot python in her toilet but was not bitten.

These incidents serve as a stark reminder of the unexpected dangers that can lurk in the most mundane of places, even in the privacy of one’s own bathroom.
