Disabled man brutally attacked while eating at Taco Bell

An 82-year-old disabled man was savagely stabbed at a local Taco Bell restaurant in Los Angeles, California. Los Angeles police report that the violent attack happened shortly before 7 p.m. in Mar Vista.

Surveillance video of the brutal act was released just a few days ago.  The suspect is seen entering the business with a red skateboard and weapon in his hand. 

As the elderly man sat eating his food at a Taco Bell table, the suspect approached him from behind. A vicious attack is launched against the elderly man by the suspect within a matter of seconds. According to the LAPD, he stabbed the disabled man twice, once in the neck and once in the shoulder.  The suspect then fled the store on foot towards Inglewood Avenue, according to the police.

He sustained severe injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital. His condition has been reported as stable and he is recovering. 

As can be seen in the video, the attacker is wearing glasses, a black jacket, tan pants, and a black backpack. Police describe the suspect as a balding man between the ages of 20 and 30, about 5 feet 6 inches tall, and weighing about 130 pounds. He has multiple tattoos, including one near his left eye and another on his back. 

The suspect has not been apprehended, and an appeal has been made for help in finding him. Anyone with information about the attack is asked to contact the Los Angeles Police Department at 310-482-6369.
