Burglars use taser on dog, threatens teen with gun, so homeowner shoots them

In Murfreesboro, Tennessee, a homeowner was able to defend his home and family against two armed intruders.

It is reported that the two burglars wore gloves and masks when they entered the house on January Street on Friday night. They used a Taser on the family’s pet and threatened the homeowner’s teenage son with a gun. The homeowner was able to retrieve his own firearm and shoot both men.

The first intruder, Kevin Ford, was declared dead at the scene. The second intruder, Clifford Wright, was transported to a hospital to be treated for gunshot wounds and was later arrested. He faces multiple charges and is currently being held in the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center with a bond of $700,000.

The homeowner will not be charged with any crime and the police are still investigating the incident. Murfreesboro is a city of around 150,000 people in the center of the state.
