Baby Mauled to Death by Family Dog

Knoxville, Tennessee – In a tragic incident, a 6-week-old baby was fatally attacked by the family’s pet husky while sleeping in his crib. The infant, identified as Ezra Mansoor, sadly succumbed to his injuries after being critically injured for nearly a week.

According to the devastated parents, Mark and Chloe Mansoor, the attack came as a complete shock as the husky, which had been a part of their family for eight years, had never exhibited any signs of aggression before. Ezra suffered life-threatening injuries, including a brain bleed and brain swelling, as a result of the “completely unprovoked” attack.

Despite their immense grief, the Mansoors have chosen to donate their baby’s organs to help other children in need, offering a glimmer of hope amid their heartbreak. This selfless act of saving lives has provided them with some solace during the devastating grieving process.

As the Knox County Sheriff’s Office investigates the incident, the dog responsible for the attack has been taken to an animal shelter. The future of the husky and whether any charges will be brought forward is yet to be determined.

The tragic event serves as a harrowing reminder to cherish every moment and appreciate the little things in life. Chloe Mansoor urges others not to take anything for granted, emphasizing the importance of treasuring every single moment, regardless of how small or seemingly insignificant it may be.

While the family’s loss is unimaginable, their decision to save other lives through organ donation reflects their unwavering strength and resilience in the face of tragedy. They have called upon the community to support them during this difficult time, asking for prayers for both their family and all those grieving the loss of their beloved baby.
