SAN DIEGO, California – The San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office has determined that Alec Musser, the actor known for his role on the popular TV show “All My Children,” died by suicide. Musser, 50, was found deceased in his home in Del Mar, California, with a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

According to a press release, Musser was discovered by his fiancée, Paige Press, who had seen him alive the night before. Press found him the next morning on the bathroom floor, slumped forward, with a shotgun nearby. Law enforcement and paramedics were called to the scene, where it was confirmed that Musser had died by suicide.

Press took to Instagram to share her heartbreak, posting photos of Musser with a heartfelt message. “RIP to the love of my life,” she wrote. “I will never stop loving you. My heart is broken.” She described the day as the worst of her life and expressed her love and admiration for Musser.
