15-Year-Old Girl and Two Cousins Tortured to Death in Shocking, Livestreamed Killings

In a chilling event that unfolded in Argentina, three young women, including a teenager, were brutally killed, their horrific ordeal broadcasted live on social media, as per local law enforcement. The mutilated remains of Lara Morena Gutierrez, 15, Brenda del Castillo, 20, and Morena Verdi, 20, were found in a well situated behind a house. The victims were allegedly lured into a van with the promise of a party.

Gutierrez was subjected to the removal of five fingers on her left hand and an ear before her throat was cut, according to police sources. Del Castillo was stabbed multiple times in the neck and punched in the face before a fatal blow was dealt to her face. After her death, her abdomen was cut open. Verdi was attacked in the face before her neck was broken.

The gruesome torture was broadcasted live in a private social media group, as reported by Buenos Aires Security Minister Javier Alonso. The victims are thought to have been killed on the orders of a Peruvian drug trafficker, who accused the three of stealing a stash of cocaine.

In the video, a gang leader is heard saying, “This is what happens to those who steal drugs from me,” Alonso told the press. Four people, including two women, have been arrested in connection with the murders, which took place in a property dubbed the “House of Horrors” by the Argentinian media in the town of Florencio Varela, about 16 miles south of Buenos Aires.

The bodies were discovered last Wednesday, five days after they went missing on September 19. Authorities believe the trio was killed on September 20. The savage murders have sparked widespread protests across Argentina, with the victims’ family members speaking at a march in Buenos Aires on Saturday.

“Women must be protected more than ever,” Leonel, del Castillo’s father, told the media. He had previously mentioned that he was unable to identify his daughter’s body due to the extreme violence she had endured. Antonio del Castillo, the grandfather of the two cousins, denounced the murderers as “bloodthirsty” in a heartfelt interview, stating, “You wouldn’t do what they did to them to an animal.”

The identities of the four suspects have not been released to the public. They are expected to be charged on Thursday.
