Tesla engulfed in flames after crash, 3 victims perish inside

The Murrieta, California community is in mourning after a tragic event took place Saturday night.

Around 11 p.m., officers responded to the crash which ended in the parking lot of Alta Murrieta Elementary School. When they arrived, they discovered a Tesla engulfed in flames and a man outside the vehicle with serious injuries. After the fire was put out, three occupants, including the driver, were found dead inside the car.

Family members of the man that was found alive have said he was pulled out of the car by a good Samaritan, and they are currently searching for the person to thank them for their heroic actions.

The solemn event of the vigil for the victims occurred Sunday night outside the elementary school, and the individuals who died have not yet been identified.

It was reported that most of the victims were teenagers, and authorities are investigating the crash to determine the cause, though they believe that no other vehicles were involved.
