Rock Singer Dies in Tragic On-Stage Incident During Show

Brazilian musician Ayres Sasaki tragically lost his life during a live performance due to an unexpected electrocution incident. The unfortunate event took place on July 13 at the Solar Hotel in Salinopolis when a drenched fan embraced the 35-year-old artist on stage. The contact with the wet fan caused a nearby cable to discharge a lethal electric shock, resulting in Sasaki’s immediate death.

Sasaki, a beloved figure in the music industry, leaves behind his wife, Mariana. The couple had been married for less than a year. The circumstances surrounding the fan’s wet condition and the extent of their injuries remain unclear.

Local law enforcement in Salinopolis has initiated an investigation into the incident. The Solar Hotel has pledged full cooperation with the authorities and expressed their commitment to assisting the Sasaki family during this difficult time. In a statement on Instagram, the hotel said, “We are fully dedicated to providing support to the Sasaki family… We reaffirm our commitment to fully cooperating with the competent authorities for the proper clarification of the events.”

Tributes for the late singer have been pouring in from fans and fellow artists alike. Singer Adriano Freitas remembered Sasaki as a charismatic individual with an incredible talent. He said, “We were friends in daily life, beyond music. A super charismatic guy, his talent was incredible. A great friend, very family-oriented, attentive to his friendships, and to those who appreciated his work.”

Comedian Natto Almeida also paid tribute to Sasaki, highlighting his kindness off-stage as much as his talent on-stage. He said, “What will definitely stand out about Sasaki is his good heart, very polite. I think this will be the lasting mark he leaves behind.”
