A shocking discovery was made by a plumber in a Texas apartment complex after residents reported persistent drainage problems. The incident occurred on Monday around 10:30 a.m. when the plumber found a fetus in an external pipe of the Glen Cove Apartments in Spring, a suburb of Houston. The fetus was estimated to be only a few weeks old.
Residents of the apartment complex had been experiencing drainage issues since the previous Friday. Following the discovery, a woman was seen being taken away from the apartment complex in an ambulance. The circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear.
Local detectives are investigating the incident, which they believe may be related to a miscarriage. While authorities have identified the parents of the fetus, they are still working to piece together the events leading up to the discovery. The community has been left in shock by the incident.
One resident, Linda McQueen, expressed her disbelief, saying, “All I saw when I looked out my window, which is right up there, was all the police cars. Like, what the heck is going on? Never thought anything like this in a million years.” The incident has left residents and neighbors deeply disturbed.
Another resident, Paula Smith, voiced her concern for the mother, saying, “We hope whoever it is come forward and get some medical attention. Because that’s sad to lose a baby like that and not tell nobody.” The community is rallying around the hope that the woman involved will seek medical attention.
In a separate incident, another woman was seen being escorted from the apartment complex in handcuffs. However, it remains unclear whether this was related to the discovery of the fetus.
