Naked Attacker Severs Man’s Hand in Random Attack

In a shocking incident in Miami Gardens, Florida, a man was found severely injured, his hand severed by a machete, early Monday morning. The suspect, Tyrone Arthur Rhyant, 54, was discovered by police not far from the crime scene, lounging on a sofa, completely naked.

The victim was discovered around 4 a.m. following a 911 call. He was found with a severed hand and bleeding heavily from his head. A machete, covered in blood, was found in the vicinity. Witnesses reported seeing a naked man, later identified as Rhyant, fleeing the scene around the time of the attack.

Upon being described by the victim, Rhyant was located by the police. The motive behind the attack remains unclear, but it was revealed that Rhyant’s estranged wife, who has a restraining order against him, lives nearby.

Rhyant, a resident of Opa-locka, reportedly confessed to the police during his arrest, asking them if the victim was dead and stating that he had intended to kill him. The victim was transported to HCA Florida Aventura Hospital for treatment.

Rhyant has been charged with attempted murder causing injury and domestic violence/violation of injunction. He is currently being held without bond at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center.

This incident highlights the ongoing issue of domestic violence and the need for effective enforcement of restraining orders. It also raises questions about the availability of weapons and the ease with which they can be used in violent crimes.
