Last night, Jonathan Majors, age 33, was arrested for allegedly assaulting a 30-year-old woman in the Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan.
According to police, the incident was reported to 911 at 11:14 p.m. on Saturday inside an apartment near West 22nd Street and 8th Avenue, within the 10th Precinct.
An initial investigation suggested that a dispute between Majors and the woman resulted in the woman sustaining minor injuries to her head and neck. She was then taken to a local hospital in a stable condition.
Majors was taken into custody without incident and is now facing charges of strangulation, assault, and harassment. His notoriety has grown with roles in Lovecraft County, Creed, and playing the role of the villain Kang in Marvel’s movies and TV shows.
A representative for Majors has stated that he has done nothing wrong, and they look forward to clearing his name.
