Man Fatally Stabs Wife in Massage Parlor

A horrifying incident unfolded in a Queens massage parlor on Tuesday evening when a man fatally stabbed his wife in front of shocked patrons and employees, according to law enforcement officials. The suspect, identified as 25-year-old Jiahai Ma, reportedly stormed into the bustling Flushing establishment where his wife, 26-year-old Jui Mei Teng, was employed.

Around 5:30 p.m., Ma allegedly attacked Teng, stabbing her multiple times across her body. The gruesome act was witnessed by a number of customers and coworkers who were present at the time.

Upon arrival at the Spring Garden Spa, located at the intersection of Kissena Boulevard and Barclay Avenue, police officers found Ma still in possession of the bloodied weapon, as reported by ABC 7.

Ma was promptly arrested at the scene. He was subsequently charged with murder, menacing, criminal possession of a weapon, and harassment. Law enforcement officials confirmed that Ma had no previous arrest record.

The victim, Teng, was quickly transported to NY Presbyterian Hospital in a critical condition. Despite the best efforts of medical professionals, she could not be saved.

As of Wednesday afternoon, Ma’s arraignment was pending in Queens Criminal Court. The shocking incident has left the local community reeling, as they grapple with the violent act that unfolded in a place of relaxation and healing.
