Judge’s Wife Charged with His Murder

Megan Valentine, a 44-year-old Illinois woman, has been charged with the murder of her husband, Michael J. Valentine, a judge in the state’s Second Judicial Circuit Court. The charges against her include murder, discharging a firearm, and domestic battery. The incident occurred on Tuesday when local law enforcement responded to a welfare check at the couple’s residence in Albion.
