Golf Course Dispute Turns into Brawl

A heated dispute over the speed of play at Two Eagles Golf Course in Kelowna, British Columbia, escalated into a physical altercation, according to an account shared by a Reddit user. The disagreement, which began as a verbal exchange, quickly spiraled out of control, with the participants resorting to physical violence.

The incident, captured on video, began with a man in a white shirt berating another golfer in a blue shirt, questioning his hurry on a Monday night. The verbal exchange soon turned physical, with the man in the white shirt nearly pushing the other to the ground.

The situation rapidly deteriorated from there, with the two men trading blows. The man in the white shirt had his top ripped off and was eventually punched to the ground. Global News reported that the man may have sustained a broken jaw as a result of the brawl.

Bystanders, seemingly uninvolved in the initial dispute, attempted to intervene and break up the fight. However, the two middle-aged men continued their brawl. Even after the physical altercation ended, tensions remained high, with some golfers continuing to exchange heated words.

The West Kelowna Royal Canadian Mounted Police are currently investigating the incident, as reported by CTV News in Vancouver. The authorities have identified all parties involved and are reviewing the cell phone footage of the incident.

In a statement released via CTV News, the police department described the behavior displayed in the video as “unacceptable.” The statement also noted that while the investigation is ongoing, no further details will be released at this time.
