Decapitated Body Found in Texas Home, Suspect Arrested

A gruesome scene unfolded in a San Antonio, Texas home when law enforcement officers discovered a decapitated body in the living room and a severed head in the bathtub. The shocking discovery was made after police responded to a call about a suspicious individual peering into parked cars late Friday evening.

Upon arrival, officers encountered 35-year-old Bradley Adam Dimmick. In a chilling confession, Dimmick reportedly admitted to killing someone, leading officers to a nearby residence. The home, located approximately a mile away, was where Dimmick resided, according to an arrest affidavit.

Upon entering the house, officers were met with a horrifying sight. Blood was visible inside the front door, and a deceased dog was found near the entrance. Further into the living room, they discovered a decapitated body, later identified as 65-year-old Keith Dimmick. The victim had suffered a large stomach wound, with his intestines protruding from his body. The dog had sustained similar injuries.

Following a trail of dried blood, officers found the severed head in the bathtub. The home was equipped with three surveillance cameras, one of which was directed towards the location of Keith Dimmick’s body. The exact time of the homicide remains unclear, but detectives noted missed notifications on Keith Dimmick’s phone dating back to the morning of October 13.

While the relationship between Bradley and Keith Dimmick has not been clarified, the address listed for Bradley in the affidavit is the same as the location of the gruesome murder. Court records indicate that Bradley Dimmick is currently facing charges of first-degree murder and animal cruelty.

He is being held at the Bexar County Jail with a bond set at $1.5 million. As the investigation continues, the community is left grappling with the shocking crime that has occurred in their midst.
