In her heartfelt message, she expressed her deep loss, describing Gail as her constant companion and best friend.

Gail’s acting career spanned several decades, with notable roles on popular television shows. He played Dr. Joe Scanlon on “Port Charles” and Stuart Carson, the one-time fiancé of Brenda Walsh (played by Shannen Doherty), on “Beverly Hills, 90210.”

Peter Ferriero, host of a “Beverly Hills, 90210” rewatch podcast, paid tribute to Gail in a recent episode. This led to a surge of fans searching for news about Gail’s death online. Ferriero addressed the fans’ concerns in an Instagram Story, stating that the family would make an official announcement when they deemed it appropriate.

Gail, a native of Tampa, Florida, began his acting career with appearances on shows such as “Growing Pains,” “Doogie Howser, M.D.,” “Murder, She Wrote,” and “Matlock.” He also had roles in other series like “Robin’s Hoods,” “Savannah,” “The Round Table,” and “JAG.”

During an interview on Ferriero’s podcast in April 2021, Gail expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to work on “90210,” thanking the producers for their creative input and the experiences he gained from the show.

Gail’s last acting credit was in 2019 when he lent his voice to the character Sam in the video game “Blacksad: Under the Skin.”
