Cause of Death for Beloved YouTuber Revealed

Ben Potter, a popular YouTube personality known as Comicstorian, tragically lost his life in a single-vehicle accident over the weekend. The incident occurred on Saturday morning when Potter, 40, was driving his Toyota 4Runner on I-25 near Fort Collins. According to the Colorado State Patrol, Potter’s vehicle veered off the right shoulder and rolled several times on a service road. He was the sole occupant of the vehicle, and no other vehicles were involved in the accident.

Potter, who had amassed over 3 million subscribers on his YouTube channel, was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities have ruled out the influence of drugs or alcohol in the accident. The Colorado State Patrol also confirmed that Potter was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash and was not believed to be speeding.

Potter resided in Windsor, approximately 16 miles from Fort Collins. His wife, Nathalie, confirmed his death on Monday, describing it as an “unfortunate accident.” She remembered her husband as the “rock” of their family who always tried to make everyone laugh and ensure they were okay.

Potter launched his YouTube channel, Comicstorian, in 2014 and quickly gained a massive following. He was known for creating audio dramas for comics, sharing his opinions, reviews, and analyses of various comic books and superhero products, particularly those from Marvel and DC films.

In addition to Comicstorian, Potter also ran a gaming channel called Eligible Monster Gaming, which had nearly 200,000 subscribers. Here, he discussed “video game lore” from popular franchises like “Assassin’s Creed” and “ident Evil.” He also had a self-named vlog and manga channel, Mangastorian, featuring comics or graphic novels from Japan.

Throughout his decade-long career as a content creator, Potter shared over 4,000 videos. His wife has pledged to keep his to honor his memory and continue great stories. She asked for privacy during this time and expressed her commitment to preserving her’s legacy.
