Bartender Arrested for Stabbing Patron

A Florida bartender, known for his grumpy demeanor, was taken into custody following an alleged violent altercation with a customer over a disputed bar tab. The incident, which took place at Grumpy’s Underground Bar in Orlando, resulted in the patron being stabbed multiple times in the head and back, according to police reports.

The bartender, identified as 30-year-old Jason Wilfredo Rosario, reportedly engaged in a heated argument with the customer over a bill for drinks that the latter claimed he did not order. Despite the bar manager’s attempts to mediate, the situation escalated with Rosario allegedly hurling insults at the customer and making derogatory comments about the customer’s deceased mother.

The argument took a violent turn when Rosario suggested they take the dispute outside. Once outside, the verbal altercation continued, culminating in the customer punching Rosario. In response, Rosario allegedly drew a knife and stabbed the customer multiple times in the back and head.

The attack was so swift that the victim did not immediately realize he had been stabbed. Following the assault, Rosario reportedly exclaimed, “I got him.” The incident came to the attention of the police after a woman, who found blood on her hands after the victim brushed past her, alerted them about a possible stabbing.

The bar owner, who identified Rosario as the assailant, described him as “hotheaded” and known by the nickname “Joc Hip Hop.” The victim, whose current condition remains unknown, was rushed to the hospital. He did not succumb to his injuries, according to the police report.

During the investigation, the bar owner informed the police that Rosario, whom she referred to as “Saucy,” had stabbed someone and that it was unacceptable. The victim also positively identified Rosario in a lineup.

Rosario was arrested on Friday after an arrest warrant was issued. He is currently being held in Orange County Jail without bond on charges of attempted second-degree murder.
