2-Year-Old Dies After Horrific Accident at Auto Shop

A heartbreaking event occurred in Cohasset, Massachusetts, when a two-year-old boy tragically lost his life in an accident at a car repair shop, as reported by the Norfolk District Attorney’s Office. The young boy was discovered with grave injuries in the vicinity of Hajj Auto Service on South Main Street, which led to an immediate probe by local law enforcement.

The toddler was under the supervision of his grandfather when a hefty piece of construction machinery toppled onto him. In a frantic attempt to rescue his grandson, the elderly man hurriedly transported him to the nearby police station around 12:30 p.m. in the aftermath of the accident.

Following this, the toddler was swiftly moved to South Shore Hospital. Despite the best efforts of the medical team, the boy was sadly declared deceased. Local police have indicated that the incident does not appear to involve any criminal elements. The identity of the individual operating the machinery at the time of the accident, however, remains undisclosed.

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has been summoned to carry out an independent inquiry into the incident. As it stands, no additional details regarding the accident have been made public.
