YouTube star dead at age 22

The widely-known social media influencer, Annabelle Ham, who documented her life as a college student, has passed away at the young age of 22.

On Saturday, her sorority chapter at college revealed the news of her death, without disclosing the cause. Her family, however, indicated that it was due to an “epileptic event”.

In an emotional statement to reporters, her sister Alexandria described her as “all that’s good in this world”. Alexandria also said that Annabelle was always “happy and looked for ways to make every day, situation, or outing better”. Her other sister, Amelia, also confirmed the news of her passing with a heartfelt post on Instagram, saying “you would never think something like this would or could happen to you until it does”.

Prior to her death, Annabelle had built up an online following of 77,000 on YouTube and 107,000 across Instagram and TikTok. Her sorority chapter at Kennesaw State University wrote a tribute to her on their Instagram page, saying “she had an amazing impact on each and every sister in Beta Zeta”. On social media, her followers expressed their sadness and condolences, with one saying “I know you are safe in gods hands now”. Another said “rest in heaven angel”.

The Fairhope Police Department has released a statement on their Facebook page regarding the incident, saying “no foul play is suspected”. However, The Post has requested further information from the Police Department and the Baldwin County coroner.
