Woman Charged With Smearing Dog Feces on Elderly Neighbor

A dispute between neighbors in a St. Petersburg, Florida mobile home park took a bizarre turn on Sunday when a woman allegedly smeared dog feces on her 76-year-old neighbor’s face. The incident occurred around 8:30 a.m. as 28-year-old Kali Robertson was walking her dog, according to a criminal complaint.

The elderly man, who regularly engaged in conversation with Robertson during her dog walks, reportedly said something that upset her. In response, Robertson is said to have grabbed a bag of dog feces and smeared it across the man’s face, according to the complaint.

The complaint further alleges that Robertson then discarded the bag on the ground and left the scene. The police were able to link the bag to Robertson, as it matched other bags she had in her possession.

Upon investigation, Robertson admitted to the incident. She was subsequently charged with battery of a person over the age of 65, a crime that is considered a third-degree felony in Florida.

Despite the evidence and her admission, Robertson has pleaded not guilty to the charge. The case serves as a stark reminder of the potential for everyday disputes to escalate into criminal behavior.

The incident has sparked a range of reactions from the local community, with many expressing shock and disbelief at the unusual nature of the crime. The case is now pending in court, and if convicted, Robertson could face serious penalties under Florida law.
