TikTok Star Dies at Age 19

Anna Grace Phelan, a popular TikTok personality, has passed away at the age of 19 after a courageous battle with brain cancer. The news of her death was confirmed through a heartfelt message posted on her TikTok account on Saturday. The message expressed the family’s deep sorrow and gratitude for the support they received during Phelan’s illness.

Phelan, known for her vibrant personality and strong faith, had been documenting her journey with cancer on her social media platforms. Her followers were privy to her struggles and triumphs, bearing witness to her unwavering faith and resilience in the face of adversity. The family’s statement thanked the public for their prayers and support, expressing their belief that Phelan had found peace and healing in heaven.

Phelan’s funeral service is scheduled for Thursday at the Galilee Christian Church in Jackson County, Georgia, with the burial to follow at the church’s cemetery. She leaves behind her parents, William “Buddy” Phelan and Nadine Phelan, her brother Harper David Phelan, and other family members.

The young influencer had shared her diagnosis with her followers in September, just days before she was set to begin her first year of college. She had initially experienced numbness on the left side of her face and the right side of her leg, which led to an MRI revealing a lesion on her brain.

Phelan’s health continued to deteriorate, with symptoms including balance loss, vision problems, and speech difficulties. A biopsy confirmed the presence of a tumor, and she was diagnosed with glioblastoma, an aggressive and incurable form of brain cancer.

Despite the grim prognosis, Phelan remained hopeful and continued to share her journey with her followers. In one of her last videos, she revealed that her tumor had grown and was affecting her ability to breathe. However, she remained optimistic, expressing her gratitude for the prayers and support she had received.

A GoFundMe campaign was launched following Phelan’s diagnosis, raising over $65,000 to help with her medical expenses.
