Three Women Found Dead in Home

In a disturbing event in Columbus, Ohio, three women were found dead in a home, leading local authorities to initiate a homicide investigation. The unfortunate discovery was made by police officers who responded to a 911 call on a Saturday afternoon. The caller had expressed concern about their friends experiencing a medical emergency, as stated by Columbus Police Sgt. James Fuqua.

Upon reaching the location, the officers discovered the bodies of the three women. A crime scene was promptly set up for further investigation. Medical personnel on the scene declared the women dead around 4 p.m.

Initially, a dispatcher from the public safety department indicated that the emergency call was related to a shooting. However, the police later clarified that they were exploring other potential causes of death for the victims.

Sgt. Fuqua expressed his sympathy, highlighting the added sorrow of such a tragedy occurring during the holiday season. He stated that it would be particularly challenging for the victims’ families to accept the loss of their loved ones during this time.

The Columbus Police Department is appealing to the public for any information related to the incident. They have requested that anyone with knowledge of the event contact the Columbus Police Homicide Unit or Central Ohio Crime Stoppers. Sgt. Fuqua was not immediately available for additional comments on Sunday.

This incident occurred less than a week after another violent event in Ohio’s capital. A 45-year-old man was found in a local home’s yard with a gunshot wound the previous Tuesday. He was quickly transported to a local hospital but sadly passed away from his injuries the next day.
