Teen Fatally Stabbed 10-Year-Old Sister

A tragic incident unfolded in the quiet neighborhood of Boolaroo, located approximately 12 miles southwest of Newcastle, when a 10-year-old girl was reportedly stabbed to death. The incident occurred around 3:45 pm on Monday, with emergency services rushing to a residence on Thurston Street following reports of a stabbing.

Upon arrival, paramedics found the young girl suffering from multiple stab wounds to her upper body. Despite their best efforts, the girl succumbed to her injuries at the scene. The alleged perpetrator, her 17-year-old sister, was arrested at the home and subsequently transported to Belmont Police Station.
