Rapper Allegedly Kidnaps Fan Who Asked for Photo

Yosvanis Sierra Hernandez, known in the music industry as Chocolate MC, has been arrested on charges of armed robbery and kidnapping. The Cuban rapper allegedly held a fan at gunpoint after the fan requested a photo with him outside a grocery store in Opa-locka, Florida. The incident reportedly escalated when Hernandez forced the fan into the parking lot and demanded his vehicle.

According to the arrest report, Hernandez not only took the fan’s vehicle but also attempted to rob him. The report states that Hernandez demanded cash from the fan, who showed him an empty wallet. Hernandez then allegedly asked the fan to send him money via a mobile payment service and provide his phone number. However, the fan claimed he did not have the payment service and was unable to complete the transaction.

When his attempt to obtain cash failed, Hernandez reportedly forced the fan to drive him to various locations in the Miami area over a span of approximately two hours. This incident occurred in the same area where the majority of Hernandez’s Spotify listeners are based, as per data from the streaming platform.

Hernandez, who has over 43,000 followers on Instagram, has had previous encounters with the law. In May 2024, he was accused of kidnapping his ex-girlfriend outside an apartment building and driving her to Palm Beach County, where he allegedly sexually assaulted her. The Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office has also linked Hernandez to a murder-for-hire plot.

In a separate incident, Hernandez allegedly offered a bounty on social media for the murder of a prison inmate. The inmate was facing charges for the 2024 murder of singer El Taiger. Hernandez, who refers to himself as one of the most recognized and controversial figures in Cuban reggaeton and reparteros music, has seemingly intertwined his personal life with his music persona.
