Mother of Four Dies Unexpectedly During Fitness Class

A tragic incident unfolded in the northwestern Riverina region of New South Wales when a mother of four collapsed during an F45 fitness class and later died. Lumepa Amiatu Laweloa was participating in a workout session in Griffith on Monday when she suddenly fell to the floor. Andrew Gamble, an F45 coach and close friend of Laweloa, confirmed the unfortunate news via a GoFundMe page.

Gamble recounted the shocking incident, noting that it was a complete surprise to everyone present. As soon as he noticed Laweloa on the floor, he and other members sprang into action, calling paramedics and doing their best to keep her alive. Despite their efforts, Laweloa passed away in the hospital.

The suddenness of Laweloa’s death left her family and friends in shock. She left behind her husband and four children, with no opportunity to bid them farewell. Gamble mentioned that Laweloa was a devoted mother who always had her children in her thoughts, even during her early morning workouts. Her eldest daughter is set to celebrate her 21st birthday in a few weeks, and her 18-year-old son is about to graduate from high school. She also leaves behind a 15-year-old and a 10-year-old.

Laweloa was not only a dedicated mother but also a passionate rugby league player. She had been part of the Yenda Blueheelers Rugby League Football Club for over 15 years. The club remembered her as a cheerful and positive individual who was always ready to offer advice to younger players. They expressed their heartfelt condolences to Laweloa’s family, acknowledging her invaluable contribution to the club.

In the wake of this tragic event, Gamble has urged people to contribute to the GoFundMe page set up to support Laweloa’s family. He acknowledged that not everyone may be in a position to donate but emphasized that any contribution, no matter how small, could make a significant difference. As the coach of the fateful F45 class, Gamble felt a responsibility to support Laweloa’s family in their time of need.
