Mother Discovers Body in Son’s Room

A homicide investigation is underway in South Los Angeles after a mother discovered a woman’s body, wrapped in plastic, in her son’s bedroom, according to local law enforcement. The mother, who has not been identified, reportedly found the body in the early hours of Sunday morning after noticing a strong gas-like odor emanating from her son’s room.

Upon arrival, officers from the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) found a deceased 20-year-old woman, also unidentified, wrapped in plastic. Paramedics on the scene declared the woman dead. The duration of time the woman’s body had been in the room remains uncertain.
