Mass Shooting at Birthday Pool Party Leaves Four Dead, Three Critically Injured

A tragic incident unfolded during a birthday pool party on Ridgecrest Drive, resulting in the death of four individuals and leaving three others in critical condition. The incident took place just before 3 a.m., prompting an immediate response from local law enforcement.

Upon reaching the scene, officers discovered four fatalities and three severely injured victims. The injured were immediately transported to UC Hospital’s intensive care unit for urgent medical attention. The Florence Church of God, in a social media post, revealed that the violence erupted when an uninvited guest began firing shots at the party attendees. Among the victims was a mother who lost her life, while her daughter sustained injuries.

The assailant managed to flee the scene before the arrival of the police, sparking a high-speed chase. The pursuit ended on Dale Heimbrock Way when the suspect’s vehicle crashed into a ditch. Upon approaching the wrecked vehicle, officers discovered the suspect suffering from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. He was rushed to St. Elizabeth Hospital but later succumbed to his injuries.
