Man Tracks Down, Shoots Alleged Teen Car Thieves

A 22-year-old Houston man, Addrian Nicolas Garcia, was arrested following an incident in which he allegedly shot two teenagers he accused of stealing his car. Garcia claimed that he had tracked down the teenagers and confronted them, which led to the shooting.

The Houston Police Department reported that the incident took place around 5:50 p.m. on Tuesday near the 8200 block of Gulck Lane. Garcia alleged that his car had been stolen from his home by the two teenagers, prompting him to pursue and confront them.

Upon reaching the scene, police officers found two 15-year-old boys suffering from gunshot wounds. The teenagers were rushed to local hospitals in critical but stable condition. Authorities anticipate that they will recover from their injuries. Garcia remained at the scene after the shooting.

Following a comprehensive investigation and consultation with the Harris County District Attorney’s Office, Garcia was charged with two counts of aggravated assault-serious bodily injury in the 248th State District Court. As of now, no charges have been filed against the teenagers, and it is still uncertain whether they are considered suspects in the alleged car theft.

The investigation is ongoing as authorities strive to determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident. The Houston Police Department has not yet clarified whether the teenagers are suspects in the alleged car theft.
