The shooter, 47-year-old Eric Adams, was found dead on Tuesday morning, having taken his own life, according to the North Las Vegas Police Department.

The shooting occurred near Commerce Street and Lone Mountain Road. Adams is believed to have fatally shot four women and one man, before turning the gun on himself the following day. The victims ranged in age from their early 20s to late 50s. The injured teenager was rushed to University Medical Center, where she remains in a critical condition.

The initial investigation led law enforcement officers to the bodies of two older women. Further information then guided them to the younger victims and the young man. The search for Adams, who was considered armed and dangerous, continued throughout the night until Tuesday morning.
