A shocking incident unfolded in Dunlap, Tennessee, when a man returned home early from a trip to find his wife in bed with a young man. The man, identified as 41-year-old Jonathan Belk, allegedly reacted violently, leading to the death of the 18-year-old, Billy J. Floyd.
The incident occurred on a Saturday at a residence on Powerline Road, approximately 40 miles north of Chattanooga. Upon arrival, law enforcement officers reportedly found Belk at his doorstep, covered in blood. This information was revealed in a criminal complaint obtained by a local CBS affiliate.
The police discovered Floyd’s body in a trash can, curled up in the fetal position. Belk later confessed to the authorities that he had attacked Floyd. His wife, who was also injured during the incident, was taken to the hospital with multiple stab wounds.
