LA Real Estate Agent’s Body Found in Luxury Apartment

The Los Angeles Police Department is currently investigating the mysterious death of a woman who was both an aspiring model and a real estate agent. The woman, identified as 31-year-old Malessa Mooney, was found dead in her apartment at the Skye at Bunker Hill luxury apartments, located on South Figueroa Street. The discovery was made around 4 p.m. on Tuesday when officers responded to a welfare check request.

The police have not yet released any details regarding the cause of Mooney’s death. The Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office is currently conducting an investigation to determine the cause. The police have also appealed to the public for any information that could assist in the ongoing investigation.

Mooney’s family members are struggling to come to terms with her sudden and unexplained death. Bailey Babb, Mooney’s cousin, expressed their concern when they hadn’t heard from her for a week. Babb told local news station KTLA that the family knew something was wrong when Mooney’s messages weren’t being delivered, as they all shared a close bond with her.

Jourdin Pauline, Mooney’s sister, described her as the peacemaker and backbone of their family. She was the one who ensured that everyone was united and expressing love towards each other. Pauline expressed her grief over the loss of such an integral part of their family.

Pauline also revealed to local station KABC that the perpetrator had stolen Mooney’s belongings and was attempting to sell them. She received an alert from Mooney’s iCloud account indicating that her iPhone and MacBook were being used. Pauline expressed her disgust and shock at the heinous act committed against her sister.

On Instagram, Pauline shared her heartbreak over the loss of her sister. She expressed disbelief and sorrow, stating that she never thought she would have to make such a post. She remembered her sister as a loving and kind individual.

The incident has left the residents of the apartment complex feeling uneasy. One resident expressed her fear, stating that the incident was particularly frightening as she lived just down the hall from where the crime occurred.
