Former Miss Universe Contestant Dies in Freak Accident with an Elk

Kseniya Alexandrova, a former Miss Universe contestant and Vice-Miss Russia 2017, tragically lost her life in a bizarre accident earlier this week. The 30-year-old model was critically injured when an elk unexpectedly crashed through the windshield of her Porsche in Tver Oblast, Russia, on July 5.

Alexandrova was in the passenger seat of the Porsche Panamera, with her husband at the wheel, when the large animal leaped onto the road and collided with their vehicle. While her husband survived the incident, Alexandrova sustained severe brain injuries that left her in a coma.

The accident occurred in a split second, leaving no time for the couple to react, according to her husband’s statement to Russian media. He described the horrifying scene, stating that the elk’s impact was directly on Alexandrova’s head, leaving her unconscious and severely injured.

The impact was so severe that it shattered the front of Alexandrova’s skull, as the elk’s legs penetrated the windshield of the low-slung sports car. The aftermath of the accident was a gruesome sight, with the interior of the car covered in blood.

After spending over a month in a deep coma, Alexandrova succumbed to her injuries on August 15, as confirmed by her modeling agency. The tragic incident occurred just four months after the couple’s wedding, as revealed by Alexandrova’s widely-followed Instagram account.

Alexandrova was known for her participation in the Miss Universe 2017 pageant, which was held in Las Vegas. Despite not making it to the Top 16 semifinalists, she left a lasting impression with her grace and beauty.

The tragic loss of Alexandrova has left her fans and the modeling community in shock. Her untimely death serves as a stark reminder of the unpredictability of life and the fragility of human existence.
