A British Airways flight attendant was discovered in a state of undress, dancing in the business class restroom during a flight on an Airbus A380. His colleagues have alleged that his behavior was the result of a drug-induced spree. The incident occurred when the male flight attendant, whose identity has not been disclosed, was missing during meal service on a flight from San Francisco to London. This led to a search by other crew members.
The flight attendant was eventually discovered in the Club World Cabin restroom by the in-flight crew manager, dancing without any clothes on. The incident took place on an Airbus A-380 jet, the world’s largest passenger plane, during a flight from San Francisco to London.
The crew members had to dress the naked flight attendant in First Class pajamas and restrain him for the rest of the ten and a half hour journey. “The plane was cruising at 37,000 ft over the Atlantic, but this bloke seemed to be higher than anyone else,” a crew member commented.
The crew member added, “We believe the guy took drugs when he was supposed to be working. It’s an extraordinary thing to do.” The flight attendant, known for his party-loving nature, has since been suspended from his job.
The Airbus A380, carrying 470 passengers and crew members, landed safely at London’s Heathrow Airport at 11 a.m. last Sunday. Upon landing, police and medical personnel were waiting on the tarmac. The flight attendant was then placed in a wheelchair and taken into police custody.
He has since been suspended, and British Airways has stated that the investigation will be handled by the police. A fellow crew member commented on the incident, saying, “Not only is it really dangerous, it is a crazy way to end your BA career. This job can do ridiculous things to people, but staging a one-man disco in a Club World toilet is a new one on me.”
