A tragic incident unfolded in Brooklyn on Friday when a six-year-old girl was found lifeless in a bathtub in her home. The child’s mother is currently under police questioning, according to informed sources.
The young girl was discovered submerged in a bathtub filled with water in her residence on Elton Street, near Ridgewood Avenue in Highland Park. The discovery was made around 1:30 p.m., with the girl found unconscious and unresponsive.
Disturbing details emerged from the scene, with sources revealing that the girl had blood clots in her eyes, suggesting a possible struggle. The child may have been left in the bathtub for approximately 20 minutes, sources added.
Following the discovery, the girl was rushed to Brookdale University Medical Center. Despite the best efforts of the medical team, she was pronounced dead at the hospital, as confirmed by the police.
